When her father dies of a heart attack, Dr. Ayne Amjad is thrust to the helm of a decades-long struggle to aid a southern West Virginia town beset by cancer-causing chemicals. ​IMPOSSIBLE TOWN​ is the story of Ayne’s unexpected rise and the audacious group of unlikely activists whose fight for justice will define their legacies. 

Feature documentary IMPOSSIBLE TOWN comes from directors Meg Griffiths and Scott Faris and their production company Universe Creative. The filmmakers have received grants from organizations including the International Documentary Association and The Redford Center.

The film had it’s world premiere at the 2023 MountainFilm Festival in Telluride, CO
